After our guests left on Monday, we were left with a few days remaining in Tahoe. A 2-day side trip to the Napa Valley region in California was in order. When we left for the 4 hour drive down to Napa, it was 33 degrees in Tahoe. Upon our immediate arrival in Napa, the weather had changed a tad.
Our one night stay was at the Silverado Resort in Napa. Nice joint it is too. Eleven pools, fourteen tennis courts, PGA golf course, etc., etc. Wish we had more time there.
Wine country. And lots of it. This is the entrance to Sterling Vinyards and Winery. We were specifically told by many people in the know from work that if there was one place to visit, it would be Sterling. They were right on, of course.
