This is "The Tree." Portland Japanese Garden
This is the now-famous Japanese Red Maple at the Portland Japanese Garden. Seriously, Google up "Portland Japanese Garden" and the images found are predominantly pictures of this very tree. And "Tree" is a generous overstatement. In reality, this miniature tree is maybe five feet tall and very difficult to locate unless you know of it's exact location or ask the staff.
