Ferris Mansion

Our trip included a night's stay in Rawlins, Wyoming. The Ferris Mansion B&B is a "kit home" that was purchased and shipped via train to Rawlins in 1903. There are four other known houses just like this still standing, including another that is also a B&B. The owners have extensive photos and catalogs of this house and other vintage kit homes in the parlor room. DW5D0885_1_large.JPG

Twin Falls Idaho LDS Temple

The Twin Falls Idaho LDS Temple, opened in 2006. The day was dark and stormy when we arrived. I asked for a "God beam" of light on the temple with the darker skies for a background, and a few minutes later, we got just that! DW5D0948_1_large.JPG
